Breakout Reading Studio
The studio is the academy's main classroom. Eight seats face one long table. Each evening starts with a fresh print of a session the group has agreed to study, then moves to sheets the students brought from markets they already follow.

Who sits, and what they leave with
People who can already name a candlestick and a prior-session high, and who want their breakout reading corrected in the same room as the sheet.
A folder of your own marked prints, and a written sentence for each idea that says what would cross it out.
Price action and breakout analysis, in this room, means a specific argument: a level is only as good as the swing it was drawn from, and a break is only a candidate when a candle closes beyond that level. Wicks are marked as tests. The folder at the end of the sixth evening is the record of how your marks changed.
The next posted cohort meets on 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22 October 2026. Those dates are Tuesday and Thursday. The seat fee is the same whenever you join a later cohort; the calendar is posted again on the chart room page when the following set of evenings is fixed.
How the time is spent
-
Evening 1 — the session's range
High, low, and the close that still matters. The group draws one box and defends the swings it used. Competing boxes are redrawn until the table can point to the same boundaries.
-
Evening 2 — swing structure
What a higher low needs before it is written down. Students practise refusing a label when the swing is only a pause inside the prior range.
-
Evening 3 — the poke and the close
False breaks. A wick through the box is circled as a test. A close back inside is written as a rejection. The room collects examples where the first excitement was the wick.
-
Evening 4 — break and retest
After a close outside, price often returns to the broken edge. Students separate a retest that holds from a return that closes back inside and cancels the break.
-
Evening 5 — where the plan fails
Each student writes one sentence: the mark that would make this idea wrong. The sentence has to name a price print, not a feeling. Stops, if mentioned, are described as that sentence, not as a tip.
-
Evening 6 — a full sheet
A fresh print, marked from the open to the close without help. You defend the sheet to the table. Kanya writes in the margin only after you have finished speaking.

Who is in the room
Kanya Srisawat leads every studio evening. Arun Meesuk lays out the prints and keeps the spare pencils, the spare paper, and the door.
Before you come
Send, two days before the first evening, the market and two session dates you want printed if you do not already have paper copies. Bring a pencil you like. The first hour is spent on the printed sheet, so leave the live screen in your bag.
Conditions
- Eight seats. The cohort stays together for all six evenings.
- Instruction is in English.
- You attend in person at the Sukhumvit room.
- A missed evening is not restaged. The printed sheet for that evening is kept for you, and the first ten minutes of the next evening are for catching the mark.
- Direction for your own account, if you take one, is written by you after class.
The next step
Write to the desk with the October dates, or with a note that you need a later cohort. The reply confirms whether a seat is still open.
